PAYE is a state tax in Nigeria, and every state is its own authority with its own portal, its own schedule format and its own reference numbers. That is exactly why almost nobody has built this properly. We did.

Why this is the hard part
Thirty seven authorities, thirty seven ways of doing it.
The calculation is federal, so the arithmetic is the same in Sokoto as it is in Lagos. Everything after the arithmetic is not. Different portals, different schedule formats, different reference structures, different tempers.
A payroll product that stops at a spreadsheet never has to care. One that actually remits has to care thirty seven times. That work is the moat, and it is the reason a business in Aba gets the same product as a business in Ikoyi.
Operating in more than one state
Staff are taxed where they work, not where your head office is. If you have a branch in Ogun and a head office in Lagos, that is two authorities, two schedules and two sets of references every month.

What a remittance actually produces
A remittance is only worth what it leaves behind. Every one of ours returns four things, and all four are stored against the run and the person:
- The authority it went to, and the period it covers
- The amount, per person, reconciled against the payroll run
- The date it was accepted
- The reference the authority issued, which is what a tax clearance certificate is checked against
This is the proof object
A dashboard is not evidence. A dated, referenced remittance receipt is what answers a query, unlocks a certificate and keeps a penalty away. Every screenshot we publish leads with the receipt, not the chart.
